In this role, you will have the chance to use your skills and experience to provide excellent instruction, create welcoming classroom spaces, and meet the needs of all our students as we work to help them achieve their full potential. Lead Teacher Responsibilities & Duties Internalize and deliver lesson plans aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for the assigned content and grade level. Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success Implement positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) and other behavior management strategies Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment Be able to interpret and explain student data and progress monitoring Experience using technology and multimedia resources in the classroom Stay current on best practices and developments in education Lead Teacher Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Valid Texas state certification or license as a teacher. ESL supplement preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
