The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematics, a love for working with students, and a desire to integrate a biblical worldview into all aspects of teaching and learning. This individual will be committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and partnering with families in the education of students. As a ministry-minded educator, the teacher must be a follower of Jesus Christ, actively involved in a local church, and in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and Christian mission. This position is perfect for individuals eager to make a positive impact on young learners while working fewer hours during the week. Duties Teach junior high mathematics courses in accordance with state standards and school curriculum. Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical understanding. Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into classroom instruction. Create a positive, structured, and Christ-centered classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and other duties as assigned. Serve as a positive Christian role model for students both inside and outside the classroom. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a subject-related field is required. Previous classroom teaching experience is preferred, particularly in the area of math.
