We require a teacher with experience teaching math and classroom control, but are open to enthusiastic teachers who are willing to learn. We are looking for someone able to work mornings for 5-10 hours per week . Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications. We have grown more than 150% over the last five years and expect our largest enrollment ever in 2026-2027! As a Leader in Me school, our employees model and implement the 7 Habits principles and behaviors with parents, students, and co-workers, and work synergistically with administration and colleagues to further the mission of the school and the success of Ivy Hall students. We desire employees who maintain professionalism, awareness, and concern in their relationships with our key stakeholders — parents. Teachers advance the pillars of an Ivy Hall education: Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Entrepreneurship and Faith by fostering rigorous academic learning and growth, integrating and implementing the 7 Habits of an Effective Leader, inspiring service through global and community awareness, helping students find their voices through entrepreneurial activities, and supporting faith through Christian-based values. Responsibilities Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use technological means to facilitate learning Provide individualized instruction to each student using blended learning models Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.) using project-based learning Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to students and parents Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events including field trips Observe and understand students' behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc. Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc. Skills Proven experience as a teacher Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills Well-organized and committed Creative and energetic Strong moral values and discipline Bachelor's degree in teaching or in a specialized subject; certificate in education preferred but not required
