Job Description
Randolph Technical Career Center is seeking a certified Math, ELA, Science, Special Education, or Science teacher to instruct students in our Pre-Technology Program. The program serves up to 16 tenth grade students in a full-day exploratory model. The ideal person will possess the following:
Strong background in math, social studies, special education, ELA or, science, technology and work skills and hold a Vermont Teachers License in one of these areas.
- Previous experience with makerspaces or wood shops.
- Proficiency with basic tools.
- A passion for creating and building.
- A proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with community partners.
Qualified candidates will also demonstrate the ability to build strong and supportive relationships with students, and the capacity to create positive and inclusive cultures and environments for learners of all ethnicities, races, sexual orientations, and genders.
Randolph Technical Career Center (RTCC) is a cutting edge career and technical education center, where eligible students in 10th, 11th and 12th grades are prepared for college and career through the acquisition of real-world skills, practical knowledge, hands-on experiences, mentoring, and networking. In addition to earning requirements for high school graduation, students have the opportunity to earn free college credits and may obtain industry certifications in their field.
