Role:

As a Math Educator at Winooski High School, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds by designing engaging, differentiated lessons that promote mathematical reasoning and critical thinking. You will integrate transferable skills (Graduate Expectations) into your instruction to support all learners and emphasize performance-based assessments in our proficiency-based learning environment.

Required:

• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Completed SchoolSpring application, including 3 letters of recommendation.
• Experience teaching at the middle or secondary level

Preferred:

• Training and experience with Multilingual Students
• Knowledge about/ experience working with high poverty students
• Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction
• Evidence of strong connection with students and families
• Strong communication skills as evidenced through quality of resume and cover letter
