Job Summary
This position begins in August, 2026. Provides instruction in mathematics courses in alignment with CGCC's college goals and learner-centered instructional philosophy, as well as with CGCC's Math Division Vision and Mission
, to a various student population. Uses multiple methods of instruction, assessment and appropriate technologies to engage students and promote student success.

Essential Functions
Supervises and instructs a population of students in a classroom setting; develops written syllabi/course outlines and course materials; evaluates knowledge of subject matter taught and monitors students' scholastic records; prepares and grades assignments and exams, Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree or higher in the teaching field
OR
A master's degree or higher in any field with 18 graduate credit hours

Desired Qualifications
Proficiency using varied and interactive student-focused pedagogies to enrich students' mathematical learning experience.
Prioritizes instruction that is guided by a philosophy focused on developing students' procedural fluency, problem solving abilities, and deep conceptual understanding of mathematics.
