Job Description

Full-Time STEM Academic Tutor / Homeschool Mentor (Pre-Dental Track) - In Person Only We are seeking a full-time in-person academic mentor for a 14-year-old student based in Granite Bay, CA enrolled in a California PSA homeschool program. The role involves guiding an accelerated high school program (approx. 18-month completion goal) with a strong focus on STEM preparation for a future pre-dental track. ⸻
Responsibilities:
Daily in-person instruction in: Mathematics (Algebra II through Calculus) Biology Chemistry English / Academic Writing Design and manage an accelerated homeschool academic plan Track academic progress and ensure mastery before advancement Prepare student for dual enrollment at local community colleges Support early college coursework readiness (science, math, writing) ⸻
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, mathematics, engineering, or related STEM field Strong teaching or tutoring experience in STEM subjects Ability to structure and manage an accelerated academic program ⸻ ⸻

Commitment:
Full-time (approximately 4-6 hours/day instruction + planning) ⸻
