Job Description:
Description The University of Chicago Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars to tenured positions in Econometrics and Statistics, beginning in the 2026-27 academic year. Qualifications Applications are invited from individuals who have earned a PhD (or equivalent) in Econometrics and Statistics and have experience on the tenure-track faculty at a major research university. Applicants should be interested in contributing to a program that welcomes, respects, and supports a diverse community of scholars. Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment at the University. Application Instructions Each candidate should submit a curriculum vitae, course evaluations from prior teaching, at least two samples of written work, a research statement, and the names of five scholars willing to evaluate the candidate's ability, research, and teaching.
