Education/Teaching Position Summary:
Yeshiva College is seeking adjunct instructors for a variety of academic departments in our Washington Heights location. Courses are offered in fall and spring semesters.
Position Responsibilities:
Teach up to two undergraduate courses in-person up to twice a week, in one or more of the following areas: Administration of all exams Grade all exams and assignments by university deadlines Meet and mentor students
Experience & Educational Background:
Graduate-level degree in a related field Experience teaching undergraduate students preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Experience teaching undergraduate students Teach up to two undergraduate courses in-person up to twice a week, in one or more of the following areas:
Arts and Music Biology Chemistry Computer Science Economics English History Mathematics Philosophy Physics Political Science Psychology Sociology Statistics Application Instructions:
CV, cover letter, and 2 references and their contact information, or 2 letters of reference.
Salary Range:
$5000 - $6000 per course
