Apr 17, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neuro-immuno-oncology, cancer neuroscience, and genomics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Teaching responsibilities may include mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, as well as providing formal lectures within the department and PSOM. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include maintaining a robust, federally-funded independent research program and collaborating with other investigators to develop interdisciplinary programs that move scientific discoveries from the laboratory to clinical settings. The position may include leadership and management of core facilities, including multiphoton imaging, -omics, and flow cytometry. Preferred candidate must have a strong track record of federal research funding and a sterling national and international reputation. A continuous record of productivity and high-impact original papers as a project leader are essential.
