Job Description

Summary Barry University's College of Health Professions and Medical Sciences- School of Nursing is seeking qualified PhD-prepared Adjunct Faculty to serve on student dissertation committees on an as-needed basis. This position supports doctoral nursing students through the research and dissertation process, contributing scholarly expertise and mentorship to uphold academic excellence. This position is fully remote. Essential Functions Serve as a committee member or chair for PhD nursing student dissertations. Provide guidance on research design, methodology, data analysis, and academic writing. Review and provide timely, constructive feedback on dissertation proposals, drafts, and final documents. Participate in dissertation defenses and committee meetings. Collaborate with committee members and program leadership to ensure adherence to university and program standards. Qualifications/Requirements Must hold a PhD in Nursing or a related field Demonstrate experience in nursing research and graduate-level mentoring. Maintain a commitment to academic integrity, scholarly excellence, and student success.
