Radiant School is a three day a week school setting (Tuesday - Thursday) where Christ is the center of everything we do. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and Christian values across various subjects such as literacy, math, science, history and special interests learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive strategies and personalized behavior management techniques. Foster a safe environment that encourages respect, kindness, and spiritual growth among students. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating faith-based principles into daily activities. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and spiritual development initiatives. Incorporate childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices to support preschool and kindergarten learners. Lead extracurricular activities such outdoor learning enhancements or chapel programs that promote holistic development. Qualifications Proven classroom experience in a school setting with a strong understanding of classroom management techniques. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages. Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and assessment methods including standardized testing. Strong communication skills to engage students, parents, fellow teachers, and the wider school community positively. Background in private school environments or Montessori methods is a plus but not required. Childcare experience combined with a passion for childhood development and faith-based education is preferred. Certification or licensure in early childhood education or teaching credentials relevant to the state's requirements is advantageous.
