Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking passionate and dedicated Middle and High School teachers to inspire and educate students across grades 6 through 12 in all subject areas at a private Christian school. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds, foster a love for learning, and provide Christian guidance in the classroom and in action. Whether teaching core academic subjects like Math, Science, Language Arts, History or specialized areas such as physical education or bible, you will play a vital role in cultivating a positive and motivating classroom environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that include biblical integration across all subject areas. Utilize innovative learning technologies and instructional strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation. Maintain effective classroom management to promote a respectful, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives and participate in school-wide activities such and extracurricular programs. Demonstrate strong communication skills by engaging with parents, guardians, and community members to discuss student progress and behavioral management strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject areas. Familiarity with curriculum development standards in subject area for which you are applying. Knowledge of learning technology tools and methods for integrating digital resources into lessons. Strong organizational skills that will aid in lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Experience working in private schools is a plus; familiarity with working with children is desirable. Additional skills such as adept in the use of technology, sports coaching, fine arts skills, or other additional talents and gifts are beneficial for supporting extracurricular activities. Cultural competency and inclusivity skills to understand diverse cultures and backgrounds. Demonstrate the willingness to be adaptable.
