Inspire Creativity. Make an Impact. Westwind School for Performing Arts is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Middle School Math Teacher to lead instruction across grades 6-8. This is more than a traditional math role—our educators deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction while helping students make meaningful, creative connections through an arts-integrated approach. We are looking for an educator who sets high expectations, builds strong classroom culture, and is committed to driving measurable student achievement. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, standards-based math instruction aligned with Westwind Curriculum Guidelines Integrate creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application into daily instruction Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment Develop and implement weekly lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners Monitor student progress and provide consistent feedback and progress reports Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) Uphold school policies and contribute to a culture of accountability, respect, and excellence Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives Academic Expectations 85%+ of students demonstrate measurable academic growth At least 75% of students meet or exceed expected growth goals Increase overall weighted achievement by 10%+ from Beginning of Year (BOY) to End of Year (EOY) Qualifications Bachelor's degree (required) Teaching certification in Mathematics (preferred) Middle school teaching experience (preferred) Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills Proven ability to engage, motivate, and support diverse learners Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Position Details Full-Time | 190-
