AZ Compass Prep is seeking an enthusiastic and student-centered Middle School Math Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who believes every student can succeed in mathematics, builds meaningful relationships, and creates an engaging classroom where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement, student engagement, and personal growth. Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction. Provide timely feedback and intervention to ensure students master learning objectives. Differentiate instruction to support students with a variety of learning needs. Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Collaborate with teachers, intervention staff, and school leadership to support student success. Implement approved curriculum and instructional best practices. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and required documentation. Support student character development by modeling professionalism, integrity, and respect. Participate in school events, professional learning opportunities, and collaborative team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or a related field. Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
