Job Description
1. Provide non-evaluative instructional coaching to K-5 teachers in alignment with BIE standards, school goals, and education values. 2. Support the integration of culturally sustaining practices and Dine' language into academic instruction. 3. Facilitate job-embedded professional development, including co-teaching, lesson modeling, and feedback cycles. 4. Assist with development and refinement of lesson plans, pacing guides, and formative assessments aligned to AZCCRS and BIE frameworks. 5. Lead or support Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), cluster groups and academic team meetings, and cross-grade data teams. 6. Analyze school-wide and individual student data to support differentiated instruction and interventions under
RTI/MTSS. 7.
Promote implementation of school-wide programs such as early literacy, math interventions, SEL, and culturally informed PBIS. 8. Collaborate with tribal education departments, BIE technical assistance providers, and outside consultants, if needed. 9. Provide timely updates to the Executive Director through written reports and regular meetings. 10. Support accreditation efforts (e.g., COGNIA, AdvancED) and ensure compliance with BIE Education Resource Center and ADD directives. 11. Maintain documentation of coaching cycles, PD sessions, and staff supports in accordance with FERPA and BIE data standards. 12. Promote family and community engagement by assisting with academic nights, student showcases, and parent-teacher collaboration. 13. Monitor instructional effectiveness and recommend evidence-based strategies to improve student achievement across subgroups. 14. Support implementation of school improvement plans (SIP) and Continuous Improvement Plans (CIP) tied to BIE school accountability metrics. 15. Ensure compliance with all federal (25 CFR), tribal, and school board policies. 16. Participate in school-wide events, professional development days, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee. 17. Follow all school, tribal, and federal policies, including 25 CFR Part 36, BIE regulations, FERPA, and HIPAA. 18.
Comply with all provisions in the Policy and Procedures Manual and any approved Governing Board amendments. 19. Promote and protect the safety and welfare of all students, staff, and stakeholders. 20. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee. Job Type:
