Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our team. LPA Lakeside is a dynamic and inclusive educational institution committed to fostering a nurturing environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
(Please do not apply if you do not meet ALL minimum requirements): Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Bachelor's Degree Strong communication skills Self-directed personality traits Courteous and professional demeanor and dress Able to work 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Ability to operate computers, classroom technology, and computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, copiers, and cell phone functions such as text, email, etc.)
ALSO DESIRED
(NOT
REQUIRED
): State Issued Teaching Certificate Experience working with children in a classroom setting. Willingness to bring other skills, abilities, ideas, and time to the school in the form of after school student offerings, or by the sponsoring of after school clubs
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. Classroom management skills. Proficiency in educational technology and digital tools. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and assessments.
