Advisors at Aveson play a critical role in supporting both academic and social-emotional development, guiding students through personalized learning plans while fostering independence, collaboration, and leadership. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Advisory & Student Support
- Build a strong advisory community that supports student belonging, engagement, and social-emotional growth
- Serve as a mentor and primary point of contact for a cohort of students
- Facilitate goal-setting, progress monitoring, and regular check-ins with students and families Personalized Learning & Instruction
- Design and deliver instruction aligned with Aveson's Personalized Mastery Learning model
- Support students in project-based learning, including planning, execution, and presentation of work
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Curriculum & Assessment
- Deliver standards-aligned instruction (Common Core) through seminars, workshops, and individualized learning strategies
- Use multiple forms of assessment and data to drive instruction and support continuous improvement
