Specific grade level(s) assignment will be determined based on the needs of the program at the time of hire. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications This position will require the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service as a teacher within the designated assignment o California English teaching credential authorizing service in K-12 education o AND English Learner Authorization (CLAD, ELAS, ELA1) required
  • Must meet ESSA requirements
  • A certificate showing that within the last 60 days, the person has submitted to a tuberculosis risk assessment and if tuberculosis risk factors were identified, has been examined by a physician, nurse practitioner, or local health department, and has been found to be free of infectious tuberculosis
  • Candidates selected for employment are required to be fingerprinted and cleared by the CA Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigations through the Lewis Center (LCER) If you have questions regarding credentialing requirements, please call 760-946-5414 ext. 294.
  • Per AB2534, the Employment History and Work Experience sections must be fully completed, including details of all previous school employment and the contact information for each school's Human Resources Department. Resumes will not be accepted as a substitute for entering this information in the EdJoin application.
