RECREATION LEADER
(PART-TIME) - LIBRARY
SUMMER READING
PROGRAMThis recruitment is to fill one seasonal part-time summer position. Program runs June 16 - August 19, 2026. Program hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Under general supervision, this position is for the Library's Summer Reading Program. In this role, you will lead activities and crafts, provide customer service, and help with day-to-day program operations. If you enjoy working with the community and want to help create a fun and welcoming library environment this summer, we encourage you to apply.
Hourly Rate:
$21.10 - $25.65Application deadline to be considered for first review: Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Include, but are not limited to, the following: Assists with the Summer Reading Program, activities, crafts, and special events for various age groups.

Responds to inquiries and concerns from the public and program participants.

Communicates effectively with supervisor regarding participant behavior, injuries, and other relevant matters.

Provides exemplary customer service to all individuals. Collaborates effectively as an essential team member, demonstrating flexibility, cooperation, and open communication to foster a positive and cohesive working environment.

Promotes recreation program activities and facilities; assists in the preparation of departmental materials.

Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
