After School Advisor Gang Alternatives Program - 4.3 Carson, CA Job Details $20 - $24 an hour 1 hour ago Full Job Description We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an After School Program Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting educational activities and fostering a positive learning environment for children. You will work closely with students, assisting them in their academic and personal development while promoting engagement through various programs and activities. A lil bit about the job description: Provide support in sports coaching, encouraging teamwork and physical fitness among students. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively. Educate students through engaging lessons and hands-on activities that enhance their learning experience. Offer tutoring assistance to help students achieve academic success in various subjects. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children under your care.
Requirements:
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment physical with TB test Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred. Understanding of behavior management strategies to create a positive learning Background in early childhood education or related fields is desirable. Ability to educate children using creative teaching methods tailored to their needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
