Job Description
Summary Turning Point School seeks a part-time Auxiliary Teacher to play a dynamic, hands-on role in supporting our After School Program in Grades K-8. This role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching afternoon experience, supervising and guiding students each day from 2:00-6:00 p.m. while contributing to a positive and well-structured learning environment beyond the classroom. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and/or support the care of students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment Prepare for and clean up after class activities and in shared learning spaces Communicate and coordinate with Head Teachers regarding individual students as needed Support the preparation of indoor and outdoor learning environments in line with our whole child instructional philosophy Work with the instructional team to set behavioral expectations and help students stay accountable Actively participate in faculty culture committed to being at the leading edge of Preschool through Grade 8 education Perform other related duties as assigned The essential duties and responsibilities indicate the general nature and level of work expected. Regular hours are 2:00pm - 6:00pm, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities required. The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods; using hands and arms for instructional activities; supervising students indoors and outdoors; and occasionally lifting classroom materials up to 25 pounds. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
