The district was formed in 1967 from the unification of seven elementary districts and one secondary district. Requirements / Qualifications

In-person instruction using the currently adopted curriculum June 3, 2026

• June 26, 2026 (No school on 6/19/26 in observance of the unpaid Juneteenth holiday)

Hours:

8 a.m.

Positions Needed:

Transitional Kindergarten (1) Kindergarten (2) First Grade (2) Second Grade (2) Third Grade (2) Fourth Grade (2) Fifth Grade (1)

Requirements:

Multiple Subject Credential (11 positions) TK Teacher must also have one of the following (1 position)

• At least 24 units in early childhood education (ECE), child development, or both
• A child development teacher permit or an ECE specialist credential
• Must meet specific criteria of professional experience with preschool children set by the EUSD governing board.

Additional Compensation:

Certificated staff will receive 4 hours of paid prep time Certificated staff will also receive 4 hours of paid training time Please submit a letter of interest to HR at hr@escalonusd.org.
