We partner with schools to provide hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, innovation, and academic success. Position Overview CAM Edu is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Afterschool Instructors to lead Tech & STEAM and Academic enrichment programs for K-8 students in the Fullerton area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about education, technology, and student development. Responsibilities Lead engaging Tech, STEAM, and Academic activities for students. Teach lessons in coding, robotics, engineering, science, math, and other enrichment subjects. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Manage student behavior and classroom activities effectively. Prepare lesson materials and classroom technology before each session. Supervise students and ensure their safety at all times. Maintain classroom organization and basic cleanliness. Communicate professionally with school staff, students, parents, and CAM Edu team members. Assist with attendance tracking and program documentation. Support daily program operations and student supervision. Qualifications Experience working with children in educational, camp, tutoring, or afterschool settings preferred. Background in Education, STEM, Computer Science, Engineering, Child Development, or related fields is a plus. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable teaching or assisting with technology and academic subjects. Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance if required. Preferred Skills Experience with coding platforms such as Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Robotics experience (LEGO Robotics, VEX, etc.). Academic tutoring experience in math, science, reading, or writing. Knowledge of STEAM education and project-based learning. First Aid and CPR Certification is a plus. Bilingual skills are a plus. Why Join CAM Edu?
