Through personalized lesson planning and experienced educators, we help students excel in advanced academic pathways, including AP and college-preparatory coursework. -Do not call the business regarding your application, all communication will be done through Indeed until you have an interview- Position Overview We are seeking high-quality General AP Humanities Teachers to teach one or more of the following courses: AP World History AP U.S. History (APUSH) AP English Language & Composition AP English Literature & Composition AP Research AP Humanities / Interdisciplinary Humanities Teachers will deliver engaging, rigorous instruction aligned with College Board standards while supporting students' academic growth, writing development, and exam readiness. Key Responsibilities Teachers will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to: Teach AP-level classes in a fun, active, and engaging manner using diverse instructional strategies Lead dynamic classes that emphasize critical thinking, skill development, and analysis , not rote memorization Design and implement thoughtful daily lesson plans aligned with AP course frameworks Prepare students for AP exams , including writing, DBQs, FRQs, research projects, and timed assessments Employ a variety of instructional techniques and performance-based assessments to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of students with varying skill levels Communicate and enforce high expectations for academic performance and classroom behavior Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work Initiate and maintain professional, timely communication with parents and academic staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in History, English, Humanities, Education, or a related field In-depth knowledge of one or more AP Humanities subjects (World History, APUSH, AP Lit, AP Lang, AP Research) Minimum 3 years of AP teaching or AP tutoring experience (classroom or small-group instruction) Strong command of academic writing, analytical reading, and College Board rubrics Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt instruction for different learning styles Passion for teaching high-achieving students and supporting long-term academic success What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation based on experience If you feel you are a good match, we look forward to hearing from you.
