Job Description

Multi-Subject Middle School Teacher / Learning Guide (Ages 10-13): Innovative Micro School at Beyond New School Print Application Deadline 8/2/2026 11:55 PM Pacific Date Posted 6/3/2026 Contact Marisa Bruyneel Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay dependent on experience Length of Work Year 10 Months Employment Type Full and Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Imagine teaching in a school where you truly know every student, have the freedom to be creative, and can focus on meaningful learning instead of teaching to a test. As our Multi-Subject Teacher / Learning Guide (Ages 10-13), you will work with a small mixed-age cohort of approximately 10-15 students in an innovative, project-based microschool environment. You will build deep relationships with the same students each day while fostering their academic, social-emotional, and personal growth. At Beyond School, we believe education should develop the whole child. In addition to academics, we place a strong emphasis on mindfulness, character development, leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, and student well-being. Learning is hands-on, inquiry-driven, and rooted in real-world experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who values autonomy, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to help shape an innovative model of education. If you are passionate about inspiring young people and helping them become capable, compassionate, and confident leaders, we'd love to meet you.
