We are seeking a 7th grade classroom teacher with an emphasis on math in grades 6-8 for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will work collaboratively with our 6th and 8th grade teachers to provide a rich learning experience for our students and prepare them for high school and post secondary education. Capay School is a close-knit school community serving students in grades TK through 8 located in the farming district of Capay in Orland. The successful candidates will implement high-quality instruction aligned to California Common Core State Standards and foster a supportive, student-centered learning environment. This role supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of a diverse student population in our rural district.
Desired qualifications:
California multiple subject teaching credentials or single subject credential. Salary $56,964 - $78,540, DOE + full benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Stipend for Master's Degree.
