Job Description

LSI San Diego is in search of a teacher for our Summer Junior Program. The assignment will be 2 weeks, July 6
  • July 17, 2026. Students will be traveling internationally to participate in the program, which consists of ESL classes in the mornings, and for some students, activities around the city after lunch. We are looking for a responsible individual with strong work ethic and enthusiasm working with children. Dependability and classroom management skills are a must. ```Duties```
  • Conduct interactive ESL classes for children with provided curriculum; keep accurate records of attendance.
  • Collaborate with teachers and center director to ensure effective program delivery; communicate with parents when needed.
  • Lead and engage with students during program activities; document activities for social media purposes. ```Experience```
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Experience in tutoring or providing academic support to students.
  • Strong classroom management techniques.
  • Experience with non-native English speakers a plus.
  • ESL teaching experience a plus.
Note:
This is a junior-level position, so candidates with limited experience will also be considered. Success in the program may lead to an ESL teaching position. Pay:
From $22.50 per hour
