401(k) Employee discounts Free food & snacks Paid time off Training & development San Francisco Arts & Science Academy (ASA) is seeking a caring, passionate, and inspiring Homeroom Teacher for grades TK-4. At ASA, we believe education should nurture not only academic excellence, but also character, creativity, focus, and a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for educators who believe children thrive in a structured, joyful, and nurturing environment rooted in strong values and meaningful relationships. Our program combines strong academics, daily arts education, bilingual learning, and intentional character development to help students grow both intellectually and personally.
We Are Looking For Teachers Who:
Truly care about children and their development Have a passion for teaching and lifelong learning Believe in the importance of character education and strong values Appreciate elements of traditional and classical education Can create a structured yet warm classroom environment Value discipline, kindness, responsibility, and respect Enjoy collaborating with families and colleagues Are enthusiastic, organized, and professional
Responsibilities Include:
Teaching core elementary subjects Building a positive classroom culture Supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally Communicating regularly with families Collaborating with arts and specialty teachers Helping students develop strong habits, focus, and confidence
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher Teaching credential preferred but not required Elementary teaching experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills Passion for working with young children About ASA ASA is a joyful and academically strong TK-5 program built upon the educational philosophy and success of San Francisco High School of the Arts (HSArts).
