JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood education setting and ideally, a degree in early childhood education or development; and/or at least 12 ECE units. A qualified candidate will have demonstrated collaboration with colleagues, including grade level partners and specialist teachers. In addition, they will have a proven record in both language arts and mathematics, utilizing the project approach to integrate content through play and teacher-directed lessons.
Requirements:
Our client seeks a dedicated, creative and experienced educator for an Early Childhood Education classroom Lead Teacher position. Their play-responsive early childhood program is rooted in the Developmentally Appropriate Practice and philosophies of the Reggio Emilia approach, providing structured and open-ended play time for children to build SEL skills, develop relationships and "learn through doing" using emergent curriculum themes.
