Overview Join our vibrant educational team as an After School Enrichment Instructor, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire children to explore new skills, develop confidence, and enjoy engaging activities after school hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners' lives while fostering a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. As an integral part of our program, you will lead diverse enrichment activities that promote growth, creativity, and social-emotional development in children across various age groups. Duties Plan and deliver dynamic after-school activities aligned with educational standards and developmental needs Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Facilitate activities that support childhood development, including arts, sports, theater, tutoring, and specialized education programs Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behavior Maintain organized activity materials and ensure the cleanliness of the classroom or activity space Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment that supports children with special education needs or behavioral challenges Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, camp, or tutoring programs Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively First aid certification or willingness to obtain training prior to start date Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with diverse needs Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering a love of learning in young students Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels children's growth! Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
