Exempt Description:

A Middle School Teacher is responsible for passionately and effectively teaching courses in grades 6-8, promoting student progress, and promoting/managing a safe and positive classroom environment.

Spiritual Qualifications:

Demonstrates a passion for Christ and his Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry. Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to his Kingdom.

Professional Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts-related field of study from an accredited university or college required Master's degree and/or California teaching credential desirable Ability to effectively teach English Language Arts essentials Command of subject matter and ability to wisely engage students, as demonstrated through quality experience, is desirable Ability to comply with both written and oral instructions Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills Proficiency in demonstrating effective organizational skills Self-motivated Desire to serve in co-curricular activities, such as athletics or arts, is welcomed Obtain a certificate of negative result for TB screening before hire Cleared live scan background check
