Sundale Foundation After School Program Schedule:
Part-time (4.5 hours per day)
Position Overview:
The Sundale Foundation is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Instructional Coach to support and inspire junior high students in our after-school program. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with middle school-aged youth and can create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment that promotes both academic growth and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate instructional activities for middle school students
  • Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and confidence
  • Be a good team mate willing to help in any area
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with students to support their social and emotional growth
  • Collaborate with program staff to align activities with program goals and student needs
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to improve engagement and outcomes
  • Maintain a structured yet flexible environment that balances learning and enrichment
Qualifications:
  • Must enjoy working with middle school (junior high) students
  • Strong ability to create an engaging, fun, and effective learning environment
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Experience in education, tutoring, youth development, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to motivate and connect with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
