ABOUT THIS ROLE
Lead a 60-minute STEAM enrichment class at a partner school in Visalia, CA
  • one or more afternoons per week, Sept-Dec 2026.
Our curriculum is pre-built. Materials arrive shipped. You teach, mentor, and grow. PAY $20-30/hour, paid weekly.
REQUIRED
TEACHING
EXPERIENCE
We only hire people with real teaching experience with K-8 students. You must be able to demonstrate at least one of the following:
  • Classroom teaching experience (lead or assistant teacher)
  • Tutoring experience with elementary or middle-school students (paid or unpaid)
  • Camp counselor or afterschool program staff experience
  • Student-teaching or field placement hours toward a teaching credential
  • Coaching or mentoring K-8 students in any subject If you have never worked with K-8 students before, please do not apply.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree, pursuing one, or holding a teaching credential
  • Reliable:
    on time, every time
  • Transportation to Visalia / Tulare County schools
  • US work authorization (no visa sponsorship)
  • Comfortable leading a class of 10-25 kids
