Create an engaging and fun learning environment, where every day is a new and exciting adventure for our students. Ensure that students are safe, and both they and parents are happy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruct/lead campers ages 5 to 13 utilizing Ivy Camps USA curriculum, or other predetermined arts and crafts or athletic games and activities Engage with students throughout the entire day Ensure effective camper pick-up and drop-off Communicate proactively with your on-site director about student performance, learning, and any possible incidents Ensure proper set up and clean up of materials as needed
EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in progress Experience working with children required Letter of Previous Employer required LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, or
CERTIFICATIONS
CBI and FBI background check and fingerprinting required for hire Pediatric and Adult First Aid / CPR, First Aid required for hire (in-person CPR component required). Applicants must be willing to acquire certification within 14 days of hire (not reimbursable) if missing CPR certification Must complete all state-required training before starting position, a manager will support you in determining the completion date for each training in accordance with guideline Must complete a medical statement and provide written documentation of current immunizations once hired, a manager will support you in determining required specifications and completion dates Must complete a general physical through a licensed provider prior to start date
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
: Ability to work in a self-directed capacity, must be proactive, creative, take ownership, and have a strong work ethic High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to work quickly and strategically Strong oral and written communication skills Strong digital literacy and ability to manage digital systems Excellent team-player Friendly and approachable demeanor Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times
EXPECTATIONS
Monthly (tasks that can be completed once a month): communicate availability for the month to site director; support in running safety drills for licensing Weekly (tasks that can be completed once a week): sanitize toys and materials; support current inventory's organization Daily (tasks that can be completed once a day): appropriately clocking-in and out; engage with students; instruct assigned activities; handle student behavior concerns; arrive 30 minutes before the start time to set up activities; support director in curriculum by creating samples of daily activities; clean up stations; wipe down tables before and after students arrive Ivy Camps USA is an equal-opportunity employer.
