Job Description

KNTC Studio is seeking creative, energetic, and reliable instructors to lead engaging after-school enrichment programs for elementary-aged students throughout the Denver area. Instructors will facilitate hands-on experiences that blend technology, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Programs may include coding, Minecraft Education, digital media production, photography, stop-motion animation, digital art, video creation, mock news broadcasting, engineering challenges, maker activities, and technology-powered creative projects designed for K-6 students. Instructors help students explore technology as creators by guiding engaging experiences that build confidence, creativity, communication, and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities Lead engaging after-school enrichment classes for elementary-aged students Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, exploration, and problem-solving Teach and support activities including: Block coding and beginner programming concepts Minecraft Education projects and digital world-building Digital art, graphic design, and creative technology projects Photography, video production, and multimedia storytelling Stop-motion animation and content creation activities Mock news broadcasts, presentations, and digital communication projects Engineering, maker, and design-thinking challenges Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment Supervise students and maintain a safe learning space at all times Manage classroom behavior in a professional and age-appropriate manner Prepare, organize, and maintain instructional materials and technology Communicate professionally with school staff, families, and KNTC leadership Assist with student check-in, dismissal, and attendance procedures Adapt activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and experience levels Required Qualifications Current CPR and First Aid certification Ability to pass any required background checks Experience working with children in educational, camp, tutoring, coaching, childcare, or enrichment settings Strong communication and classroom management skills Comfortable using technology and learning new digital tools Reliable, organized, patient, and enthusiastic Ability to work independently and take initiative Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching or facilitating enrichment programs Familiarity with Minecraft Education, coding platforms, digital media tools, photography, video production, or maker activities Background in education, technology, computer science, engineering, art, media production, or a related field Experience leading groups of elementary-aged students Schedule Part-time Primarily weekday afternoons during the school year Typical classes range from 1-2 hours in length Additional opportunities may be available for summer camps, workshops, and special programs About KNTC Studio KNTC Studio provides hands-on enrichment experiences that combine technology, creativity, and innovation. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
