Salary Range:
$47,750 - $103,021, based on the 2025-2026 Salary Schedule. Final salary placement will be determined upon completion of negotiations. All verified years of relevant experience will be credited based on education and experience. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule, depending on education and experience. Tuition reimbursement opportunities are available to support continued professional growth. Qualifications for the Position Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Education with a Secondary Social Studies/History Teacher (Social Studies/History endorsement/emphasis required. Candidates with an Elementary Education endorsement will be considered if they have completed 24 semester hours in History or can pass the required History content assessment to add the endorsement. Must hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teacher License with a Secondary Social Studies endorsement issued by the Colorado Department of Education. Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and state assessments, with the ability to implement data-driven instruction in a standards-based classroom. Proven ability to promote student academic success; middle school Social Studies/History experience preferred. Strong collaboration skills; experience with middle school teaming preferred. Experience working with diverse student populations. Proficiency in instructional technology preferred. Coaching opportunities may be available.
