We are seeking a part-time, split-shift Before and After School Site youth staff member, whom we call our Educator, within the Weld Re-8 District. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy your summer and secure a position for the fall before summer begins! Right At School is currently interviewing for after-school positions within the Weld RE-8 School District for our upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
What we are looking for:
We are currently seeking part-time After School Site Program Educators for our before
- and after-school programs located inside the Weld RE-8 schools. This role will begin in August 2026! Part-Time Position Details

School Year:
After-School hours. Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Located in the Weld RE-8 School District.
Part-Time Schedule:
After School 2:45 pm-6:00 pm (may vary slightly)
NO WEEKENDS!
Start Date:
July/August 2026
Starting Wage:

Fall-August 2026 and summer camp sub/on-call opportunities starting June 2026 that will work into the fall 26-27 before and after programs in August.
- State Licensing Requirement
- Verifiable experience
- 460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (one-on-one care, nanny, and babysitting do not qualify, must be classroom or licensed group childcare type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range
- kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision; OR 40 clocked hours training/coursework department-approved courses playground/safety
- Will be able to provide a letter from a licensed childcare type facility showing at least 460 hours of supervising school-age children (kinder-6th grade) and three professional references that will be verified if hired You'll drive the mission by: Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents, and other observation Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play Excellent communication skills with a varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children Meets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability Ideal Candidates will have the following: Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills Verifiable experience•460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (not one-on-one care, nanny and babysitting do not qualify must be classroom-type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range•kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision Works well in a team environment At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred) Ability to lift 25lbs Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
