Science Teaching Position Summary:
Euclid Middle School is looking for a science teacher on a four-person core team. Seeking someone with a strong collegial and collaborative mindset to implement data-driven instruction through PLC work. Seeking someone to support students along the continuum of learning from interventions to extensions along with supporting special education and English language development plans for students' growth. A desire to build and be a part of a community of adult learners is essential. The applicant will be teaching middle school science and will instruct students in coordination with a standards based curriculum and within the framework of district and state content standards. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work cooperatively with middle school students, parents, and staff required. The applicant has a working knowledge of subject matter assigned, classroom management, best practices and strategies, students' learning styles and needs.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Successful applicants must be properly licensed for assignment as a Professional Educator according to the Colorado Department of Education.
STARTING SALARY RANGE
 (Annual salary schedule based on 1.0 FTE)

 187 contract days (district educator calendar)

NOTE:
While you may look up your estimated salary on the linked salary schedule, updates for the 2026-2027 school year are contingent upon negotiated increases that are approved by the LPS Board of Education in the summer season. Additionally, know that these salary values are based on a 1.0 FTE working 187 contract days.
