In this engaging role, you will deliver exciting, hands-on lessons focused on space exploration to children and early learners. Your enthusiasm and expertise will spark curiosity, foster learning, and cultivate a love for science in a fun, interactive environment. This paid position offers flexible hours perfect for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact while sharing their love of space with the next generation of explorers. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to 1-3rd graders, 4-6th graders, and 7th grade and up students that covers topics like planets, stars, rockets, and space missions. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and create immersive educational experiences. Plan and prepare lesson plans that align with educational standards and incorporate hands-on activities, experiments, and visual aids. Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior among young learners. Experience Prior experience in classroom teaching or tutoring children preferred. Strong background in curriculum development related to science or space topics. Familiarity with learning technology platforms used for educational purposes. Experience working with children of various ages, including those requiring special education or childcare support. Demonstrated classroom management skills that promote a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Knowledge of lesson planning best practices tailored for young learners interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects.
