EASTCONN
is seeking a dynamic, student-centered English Teacher for Quinebaug Middle College. The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment, deliver engaging instruction aligned with Connecticut standards, and support students in developing strong literacy, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Position Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Assess student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff Integrate technology and innovative instructional practices into the classroom Support a positive and inclusive school culture Participate in professional development and school initiatives Required Qualifications Valid Connecticut teaching certification required: 015 English, 7-12, or Other appropriate Connecticut English/Language Arts certification Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to student achievement and relationship-building Experience working with secondary students preferred Salary & Benefits Salary and benefits will be in accordance with applicable union contract, education and experience.
