Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves educating children, mentoring them in their academic journeys, and providing tailored support to meet diverse learning needs. Responsibilities Model the Catholic faith through personal witness, prayer, and participation in the sacramental life of the Church. Plan and deliver lessons in Social Studies and Religion aligned with curriculum standards. Differentiate instruction to meet the spiritual and academic needs of all students, including those with learning differences. Integrate technology and hands-on learning where appropriate. Evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and observation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and development. Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment. Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures. Incorporate prayer and religious reflection into the daily classroom routine. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and concerns. Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to support student learning. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. Supervise students in various settings (e.g., lunch, recess, field trips). Supervise students during non-instructional times such as lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, and bus duty. Participate in school events, assemblies, extracurricular activities and contribute to a positive school culture. Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the school administration to support school operations and student safety.
