High School EL Summer Academic Program (HS- ELSAP) 2025 - 26 Washington, DC Job Details Seasonal | Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Teaching Certification Working with high schoolers Subject-specific Teaching Certification Language development (child development components) Classroom Teaching Entry level Full Job Description The Language Acquisition Division will be offering summer school programs for our MLs.
ELSAP 2026
will have an in-person summer school program, with all instruction to be tailored to support the needs of ML students while integrating the development of language and content. This program is designed to support students as they continue to develop their English language proficiency and pursue critical core content. All courses offered will be credit recovery, with limited offerings of language development courses. Newcomer, WIDA ACCESS Level 1, and
WIDA ACCESS
Level 2 students will be prioritized for instruction. We are looking for a site instructional coach, teachers with a background in working with MLs, and a bilingual counselor to work with our students. Applicants who are moved forward in the process will engage in conversations around which positions are available. Teacher certification in the content area needed is required. All
HS ELSAP
