About Best Brains:
Best Brains is an educational enrichment center that offers academic programs in Math, English Language Arts (ELA), and Coding to children of all ages. Our mission is to provide high-quality educational experiences that help students excel academically and develop a love for learning. We are looking for teachers to join our team for the summer and make a positive impact on our students' education!
Job Description:
Best Brains Middletown is seeking passionate and experienced with students . As a Summer Teacher, you will engage with well-designed lesson plans, deliver high-quality instruction, and support students in building strong public speaking, creative writing, and academic skills. You will work with students in a small group setting, offering personalized attention and fostering an environment that promotes academic growth and confidence.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging predefined lessons in focusing on building students' public speaking, creative writing, and academic skills. Lead and supervise groups of elementary-aged children. Work with students in small groups to provide personalized instruction tailored to their individual learning needs. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Support students in developing communication skills through public speaking and creative writing activities. Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills through creative and interactive activities. Maintain classroom management to create a structured and productive learning environment. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and quality of instruction. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching strategies and best practices. Plan and conduct fun activities, arts & crafts, games, and team-building exercises.
Qualifications:
Proven experience teaching or tutoring ELA and/or Math to students in a classroom or one-on-one setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Passion for helping students succeed academically. Ability to adapt instruction based on student needs. Familiarity with educational technologies is a plus. Must pass a background check.
