  • Part-time, Full-time Kinderworld Academy Kinderworld Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic School-Age Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, can create a positive and engaging classroom environment, and is committed to supporting each child's social, emotional, and academic growth. As a School-Age Teacher, you will supervise and guide school-age children before and/or after school, assist with homework, lead age-appropriate activities, and help maintain a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
Creating a safe, welcoming, and structured environment for school-age children Planning and leading engaging activities, games, arts and crafts, and enrichment projects Assisting children with homework and encouraging positive study habits Supervising children indoors, outdoors, during transitions, and on field trips when applicable Encouraging positive behavior, teamwork, independence, and respect Communicating professionally with families, coworkers, and management Maintaining classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards Following all Kinderworld Academy policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures
Qualifications:
Experience working with school-age children preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Patient, energetic, reliable, and nurturing personality Ability to work as part of a team Must meet state childcare licensing requirements CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Background check and required clearances must be completed before employment Why join Kinderworld Academy?
