Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, creative, and spiritually grounded VPK Teacher with a heart for teaching and ministry. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction, maintaining a positive and orderly classroom, and modeling Christian values both in and out of the classroom. This position requires flexibility in availability , as schedules are designed to best support our students and learning environment. Candidates who are adaptable, dependable, and open to working varying shifts will thrive in this role. •We are open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Schedules will vary by individual and may change weekly based on classroom needs, enrollment, and enrichment programming. •Responsibilities Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate Design a daily and weekly schedule Provide basic care and caregiving activities Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones Communicate with parents and update them on their children's activities Qualifications Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider (preferred but not required) Strong understanding of child development Patient, kind, and nurturing Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills First aid/CPR certified (help available to obtain such)
