Job Description:
First Academy-Leesburg seeks a highly qualified individual to teach middle school science The individual should, minimally, have obtained a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in field. A masters degree is preferred. Experience is a definite plus. The contract begins August 1, 2026. First Academy-Leesburg is a college preparatory Christian school located in Leesburg, Florida. Leesburg is approximately one hour from Orlando, 1 1/2 hours from Gainesville, and two hours from Tampa, as well as the beaches on either coast. First Academy-Leesburg is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and COGNIA. Teach middle school science classes. Some coaching opportunities exist for qualified candidates if interested. Eligibility for Florida state certification and ACSI certification may be applied for once hired. Salary information listed below is based on the assumption that the teacher will apply for and receive Florida teacher certification or temporary certification. A clearly articulated testimony as to when you came to faith in Christ will be required from all applicants at the time of application as this job will include the teaching of Christian principles.
