Middle School/High School English/Social Studies Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the online curriculum and educational standards
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
• Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.

Hiring will be finalized by May 15, 2026.

Work hours:

M-Th 8-4 and Friday 8:30-12:30. The program is 34 weeks giving more time off during the school year.

Experience:

• Teaching Certificate in FL teaching English/Social Studies at the middle or high school level.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in teaching 6-12 English and Social Studies courses.
• Familiar with teaching engaging lessons while utilizing online curriculum and Christian Textbooks.
• Ability to effectively educate and inspire students You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals.
