Requirements:
FLDOE Certification in Math 6-12 OR Middle Grades Math 5-9 required Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Qualified middle school math teachers must create an online

Starting instructional pay is $50,450 per year, plus there is a pay supplement for an advanced degree. Please note salary is based on verifiable years of experience as per District guidelines. Did you know that Brevard Public Schools offers our instructional staff a pay supplement based on years of experience? Our voters passed a millage in 2022 and all instructional staff, from zero to 19+ years of experience, will receive a supplement . The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacherwith 19+ years experience, that's approximately an additional $8,110 (pay and supplement are prorated based on start date) in your pocket! This raises the overall compensation higher than our neighboring school districts.
