ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INNOVATION INSTRUCTOR
Centner Academy is seeking an exceptional Entrepreneurship & Innovation Instructor to inspire the next generation of creators, leaders, and problem-solvers. This role is ideal for an energetic educator, entrepreneur, coach, mentor, or business professional who is passionate about helping young people develop confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Instructor will create engaging, real-world learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, communicate effectively, solve problems creatively, and take meaningful action. Through hands-on projects, business ventures, public speaking opportunities, and marketplace experiences, students will learn how to turn ideas into reality while developing skills that will serve them throughout their lives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, captivating presenter, and natural motivator who can build meaningful relationships with students while creating a classroom culture centered on growth, accountability, creativity, and initiative. Responsibilities Teach entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and business concepts through engaging, project-based learning experiences. Guide students through the creation and operation of student-led businesses, entrepreneurial projects, and innovation challenges. Facilitate student presentations, pitch competitions, marketplace events, and public speaking opportunities. Foster a culture of creativity, initiative, resilience, ownership, and problem-solving. Challenge students to think independently, take calculated risks, and learn from setbacks. Serve as a mentor and role model who encourages students to pursue excellence and personal growth. Connect classroom learning to real-world business, leadership, and entrepreneurial experiences. Utilize storytelling, discussion, case studies, and experiential learning to make complex concepts engaging and accessible. Collaborate with faculty and school leadership to support interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives. Build relationships with local entrepreneurs, professionals, and community partners who can enhance student learning experiences. Maintain a positive, structured, and highly engaging classroom environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, startup team member, sales professional, coach, military leader, educator, or other high-performance professional. Demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire, and engage young people. Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills. Experience leading groups, facilitating workshops, coaching teams, or mentoring others. Proven ability to build strong relationships and create a positive learning environment. Ability to tell compelling stories and make learning engaging, relevant, and memorable. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with middle school and/or high school students preferred. Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership development, and student growth.
